I have thirty years experience in nursing practice and education.  In March 2011, I completed the E-Learning for Educators and Online Teaching Graduate Certificate Program at University of Wisconsin - Stout.

My clinical experience includes Medical Surgical, Joint Replacement, Critical Care and Rehabilitation nursing.  In the fall of 2009, I supervised the Regional antiviral and H1N1 vaccine distribution during the National Public Health Emergency.

In December 2010, I received recognition by the South Carolina Women Infant and Children (WIC) Program as an Outstanding Maternal Child Health Program Manager for designing, implementing, and evaluating an on-line continuing education course for WIC nutritionists in Region 8.  In 2008, I received the SC-DHEC Region 8 Virginia C. My nursing education experience includes lecture and clinical teaching at the community college level.   I have planned, implemented, and evaluated continuing education activities for nurses, physicians assistants, social workers, health educators, and the public.
